Small Framed Print - Wild Blues & Greens

This beautiful design has a magical depth from the background through to the plants and butterflies and the gorgeous coloured planter in the foreground.  The blues, greens, lavender and violets create a wild tangle of grasses and plants including lavenders, tree peony leaves and cornflowers. 

The design is created using vibrant alcohol pens with drops of neat alcohol, painted on to Yupo paper.  Yupo is 100% recyclable tree-free paper and has a gloss finish which means the inks sit on the surface and aren't absorbed.  This enables the artist to apply many different techniques such as dripping, misting, brushing and blowing.

The inks themselves are vibrant and when mixed with the alcohol produce a similar look to water colour paints.  The designs are then digitally printed onto uncoated 350 gsm paper.
